Golden wheat fields at a Wisconsin vineyard at golden hour

Newton, Wisconsin Est. 2018

Baked from the
soil up.

Every loaf, every pastry, every bottle carries the taste of our vineyard — handcrafted in small batches on our family farm, where the land does the heavy lifting and we just listen.

Our Story

A family recipe
rooted in this soil.

4 Christi's Vineyard began with a simple conviction: the best bread and wine don't need a factory — they need patient hands and good land. Our grandparents planted the first vines on this Newton property, and three generations later, we're still turning what grows here into something worth sharing.

Our bakery opens at dawn. Every sourdough is started from a mother dough passed down through the family. Every pastry is folded by hand before the morning rush. And every bottle of vineyard wine carries the vintage — because we believe you should taste the year it was made.

What We Make

From our oven
and our vines

Bakery

Artisan Sourdough

Our signature sourdough starts with a 20-year-old mother starter. Long cold fermentation gives it a crust that crackles and a crumb that holds together like nothing from a commercial oven.

Hand-Folded Pastries

Croissants laminated 27 times. Danish filled fresh each morning. We don't freeze, we don't rush — if it's on the shelf, it came out of the oven hours ago, and it tastes like it.

Small-Batch Wines

Every bottle is fermented, aged, and bottled on-site. Our Riesling carries the crispness of a Wisconsin autumn; our red blends speak to the warmth of our summer evenings.

Taste the Vintages

We also offer seasonal preserves, vineyard honey, gift baskets, and custom orders for celebrations. Call ahead to reserve — our batches are small and our shelves don't stay full for long.
